James is an award-winning and widely exhibited visual artist from Co. Kerry in the south-west of Ireland. He primarily operates as an oil-painter, but is also a muralist, illustrator, and a qualified architect. His arts practice is centred around an existential and phenomenological exploration of the complex relationship that exists between self and surroundings. His work has been characterised as a unique blended form of contemporary engagement with both the genre of landscape painting and an intimate narrative painting tradition, eschewing hierarchy and category in favour of equal focus on both landscapes and figures.

Alice Boyd is a British composer, sound artist and audio producer. Her work explores the intersection of human life and the landscapes we call home. She often uses the voice, ambient electronic textures and novel field recording techniques, which unveil the hidden sounds of our environments.
